Miss Nancy, 2008 Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge Obviously, I’m drawn to faces with character. No princesses here. I like age and how it adorns the face. So, when the next storybook opportunity came up, I searched for a story involving a person of considerable age and came across this book. This is a very sweet story about how a young boy helped an old woman regain her “memories.” In her arms, she holds all of the things the young boy had brought her to help her remember, including seashells, a medal, a football, and egg and a puppet. Read the story, but have a tissue handy, just in case.
